• Specify the grating type required (Plain/Serrated).
• Specify whether the grating is cut to size (fabricated) or Standard Panel which comes in size 1x6mtr.
• Any special requirements on welding of binding bars to load bars must be informed.
• Recommend the number of panels required and provide dimensions for width and length of each panel.
• If gratings are required for a larger area, the client needs to provide GA layout drawings with structural framing details.
• Upon receipt of the above, the grating layout drawings are prepared with termination details (cut-outs, toe-plates, nosing etc.) with bill of materials for client approval.
• Gratings / Treads are then fabricated as per mutually agreed schedule.

• Section size and location of support steel
• Location and size of cut-outs and removable areas
• Specify the type of final finish required (Black/Galvanized/Painted)
• Where fasteners are required, customer to indicate the type of fastening required.
• For treads specify the type required with quantities, dimensions, finish and end plate details for fixing at site.
