Grating Fastening Solutions
We offer various types of Grating Clamps depending upon the mesh type. Grating clamps are categorized for the normal use and for heavy vibration. We also offer permanent type fixing solution.
The common Type 5 Grating clamp is generally supplied.

Fixing method for Type 5 Fixing clamps
The Type 5 fixing clamp supplied in three components, the top, bottom saddle with M8x70 bolt and nut. We deliver fixing clamps in loose condition for assembly at site. Following are the fixing method for Type 5 Fixing clamp.
- Select the location points on grating panels where clamps need to be fixed, which is usually on four corners. It is recommended to use minimum four sets of fixing clamps per grating panel.
- Selected area, insert the bottom saddle clamp underneath the grating panel. The ribs to be on the grating load bearing bars side and the slotted hole area to be underside of the steel support.
- Hold the bottom saddle firmly and position the nut in the slotted groove of the bottom saddle clamp.
- Place the top saddle on grating and Insert the bolt from top passing through the bottom saddle slotted hole and screw the bolt and nut by hand.
- Use screw driver and socket wrench to fully tighten the bolt and nut. Before tightening the screws, ensure that the grating is in full contact with the top surface on the support steel.
